Florida is also known as the Sunshine State and it comprises wetland, citrus crops and forests. Its sunny beaches are the main natural resource however attracting tourists from all over the world. Florida’s wetland spreads on 30 miles and its forests on more than 1 million acres. Forests are rarely expected as a natural resource in a place where there are beaches. The forest does cover about half of the surface of the state.
